Brentwood Chamber of Commerce is holding an ‘Open Evening’ for members and prospective members on Wednesday 14th November 2007 at the Marygreen Manor Hotel, London Road, Brentwood, from 6pm to 8pm.

Complimentary refreshments will be provided and the event is being sponsored by Chamber member Havering College. Invitations have already been sent to Chamber members and are being sent to as many prospective members as we can identify. However, if any readers are interested in coming along as prospective members to find out what Chamber can do for local businesses, they are very welcome and should complete the booking form which can be found on our website www.brentwoodchambers.co.uk under ‘Events’.

Apart from the opportunity to meet other members of Brentwood Chamber and representatives of the Executive Committee, those who come along will be able to find out about a range of exciting Chamber initiatives planned for the future and will also hear from our sponsors, Havering College, about plans for their High Street Brentwood site.

One of the main objectives of the evening is to attract the interest of prospective members. It is very important that local businesses should have a strong and influential voice in helping to shape the future of our community. There has never been a more important time to do so as radical changes are taking place in the town centre - offering opportunities for business and residents alike. Also Brentwood’s key role as a 2012 Olympics event host is starting to give the town an increasingly high national profile.

So now is the time for businesses to add their weight to the regeneration of the town and we look forward to seeing as many as possible at our Open Evening.
